Description
We love working with fruit from Stagecoach Vineyard as it highlights the diverse environments Syrah can flourish in. It brings a good contrast to Santa Barbara's cooler climate Syrah's.
Napa Valley's famed Stagecoach Vineyard is known for its steep hillsides and mountain-top geography invoking intense flavorful fruit. It's high elevations combined with warm daytime temperatures and lack of ocean influence make for fruit dominated by "mountainside" characteristics, with big tannins and complex flavors.
Dominated by dark fruit flavors and black pepper with a hint of vanilla and Kirsch liqueur, this syrah pairs beautifully with grilled meats and vegetables.
